we are in the requirement of installing the host os(centos) on baremetal server,from that centos we need to install kvm and launch the vm's on our own.I came to know about the ec2 metal instances.Lets say I choose a bare metal instance on the AWS,and followed by image(centos ami from the ami store)
So from the dedicated hosts faq I read that dedicated hosts are installed with nitro or xen hypervisors.so we can launch the ami from the ami store to that dedicated store but in case of bare metal instace they offer us to install the own hypervisors.
My doubts are will the centos(kvm host) ami I launch on the bare metal ec2 runs on top of hypervisor or one the top the physical server ?Because we don't want to perform the nested virtualizations(ie centos on xen and kvm in centos and vm's on top of two level of hypervisors.
